About Us:
Born and raised on a small farm near Sacramento, I learned early in life the value of hard work and the importance of truth, honesty and integrity.
I was educated at the University of California at Davis. During my eight years in the United States Coast Guard, I graduated from Biological and Chemical Warfare School.
I'm also a graduate of the National Republican Leadership Training School. I'm proud to have been voted Outstanding Young Republican of the year. I have served as Chairman of the Sacramento County Republican Central Committee.
I became Paul's Gann's assistant in 1982 and, after his death, continued as the chief executive officer of People's Advocate, Inc.
Currently, I serve as President of the San Juan Water District; I am on the Board of the Central Valley Project Water Association. I have a plan to build more water storage facilities for our homes and farms.
My wife Jayna (a veterinarian) and I are active members in our community. We live in Citrus Heights with our dogs, cats, pheasants, ducks, geese, chickens and peacocks.
I am a founding member of our Neighborhood Association and am very active in that organization. I also participate in Neighborhood Watch. I am a board member of the Neighborhood Accountability Board (a program for youthful offenders administered by the Sacramento County Probation Department).
